We include the following basic training on the operation of the system as detailed in the Pricing Schedule.
- Switch board operators – 2 hours per user position
- Telephone users – 1 hour per 20 users
- System Administrator – 2 hours per system
- Telephone Management System Administrator – 2 hours per system
Additional training can be provided at R600 per hour ex VAT.
PC’s and Servers
Generally all Servers, PC’s and Operating System Software will need to be provided by the customer. During the Project Definition Workshop we will give you the quantity and the specifications of the equipment required.
User Database and Technical Information
We require you to complete a user database prior to implementation, this will be provided to you in Microsoft Excel format. We will also require you to in form us of the available IP address range, and where necessary provide more technical information.
If network hardware has not been proposed in the pricing option, it is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they provide a full layer 3 network with PoE switches. We recommend HP Networking, or Cisco Networks.
If cabling has not been proposed, it is assumed that your existing cabling contractor will install the appropriate cabling which will terminate in your IT equipment room for the system to operate. If IP Telephony is part of your pricing option, we will need to conduct a thorough audit of your current cabling because quality issues can arise from old or poorly cabled sites. Specifications for these requirements will be provided during the Project Definition phase of the project.
All pricing is subject to foreign exchange rate fluctuations. Therefore prices may fluctuate until a firm order is received. The rate used is the applicable rate at the date of this quotation. Any variation to this rate may result in a recalculation of the pricing.
Telkom/Neotel/Voice Service Provider consulting and liaison
We can undertake all liaisons with Telkom/Neotel/VSP for the provision of the voice services that may be required. We however, cannot be held liable for Telkom/Neotel/VSP failure of delivery of the services on the requested date.
Lightning & Power Surge Protection
Although we provide lightning protection with our equipment, please note that your equipment can still be damaged despite this protection and it is not 100% effective. It remains the responsibility of the client to ensure that all plugs are earthed correctly and to provide us with an earth point to connect our equipment to.
It is the clients responsibility to insure the equipment from date of delivery.
Full implementation of the entire solution is provided, which includes:

- Telkom/Neotel or ITSP Liaison
Service, Warranty & Maintenance
A 12 month warranty with remote service and maintenance during normal business hours (08h00 to 17h00, Monday to Friday, excluding Public holidays) has been included in this proposal. You may choose to take an extended SLA (Service Level Agreement) that will guarantee the response & resolution times. Please Note: Service and Maintenance contracts only look after your existing infrastructure. Any moves, changes or additions to your schedule of equipment will be billed for on a time and materials basis at the prevailing rates. Service Level Agreement pricing as shown on the Pricing Schedule of this proposal is based on the quantities shown. These costs will need to be re-calculated upon receipt of your final specification or order.
